The festival

When December moved to the Netherlands, Eindhoven became the European capital of extreme metal for an electric weekend. Eindhoven Metal Meeting brought together thirty bands on two stages, from old-school legends to the sharpest new names of black, death, thrash and doom. For its sixteenth edition, the festival promised a dense and uncompromising poster, designed for those who were passionate about heavy riffs and dark atmospheres.

Thursday's Warm-Up evening launches hostilities before two full days in the heart of the Effenaar. A winter pilgrimage has become an essential part of the continent's metal community.
