Sunday, May 30, 2027 — the big jump. According to the rule published on the official website of the town hall of Sasamón, the festival of the Colacho is celebrated on the Sunday following the Corpus Christi: in 2027, the Corpus falls on Thursday, May 27, so the jump will take place on Sunday, May 30, 2027. The feast opens on Wednesday, the eve of the Corpus, and extends until Monday, as shown in the official program of the last editions (in 2025: from Wednesday 18 to Monday 23 June, jump and blessing of children on Sunday 22 June at 6 p.m., during the Eucharistic procession).
Since 1621, without interruption. The Cofradía del Santísimo Sacramento de Minerva, founded in Castrillo de Murcia in 1621, has been a tradition for more than four centuries; the festival is declared of tourist interest of Castilla y León.
