The festival
Since 1996, Envol and Macadam have been the first alternative music festival in Quebec: three days of punk, hardcore, metal, ska and emerging music in the heart of downtown Quebec, between the Agora du Port de Québec and the partner venues.
Its 29th edition, from September 10 to 12, 2026, brought together more than 30 artists from eight countries — Bad Religion, Hatebreed, Despised Icon, Satanic Surfers, Teenage Bottlerocket, Vader, Les Goules, Orloge Simard, Mute and DVTR — to celebrate 30 years of support for parallel music, groups established at the turn of its Planetrox competition.

Created in 1996 in Limoilou (incorporated under the name Vieux-Limoilou en fête, detait Envol et Macadam in 2007). Presented in collaboration with Molson Export.
