The festival
In Saint-Agapit, the Expo de Lotbinière is the agricultural rendezvous of an entire county. Organized by the Société d'agriculture du comté de Lotbinière, founded in 1853, this annual agricultural exhibition shows the agricultural world: animal judgments, mini farm, shows, activities for children and agri-food, on the grounds of the Société, at the back of the Sports Centre.
Good to know
The 2026 edition was held from Thursday 6 to Saturday 8 August 2026, at the grounds of the Société d'agriculture (1070 Bergeron Avenue, Saint-Agapit), in the usual period of the event, on the second weekend of August. The 2026 animal judgments — cattle from farms in and around Lotbinière — are published by the Society on its results platform, and the Rodeo de Saint-Agapit was presented as part of the Expo on 7 and 8 August. The next edition was not yet announced on 21 October 2026.
