The festival
The Portneuf Agricultural Exhibition is the great agricultural festival of the MRC de Portneuf, in Saint-Marc-des-Carrières — the official site presents it as "the biggest agricultural festival in Portneuf". Family and festive festival, it brings together the actors of the agricultural world and the general public: know-how of the breeders, direct contact with animals, animal judgments and discoveries for all ages. After its edition from 7 to 9 August 2026, it already gives an appointment from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 August 2027.
Good to know
On the program of recent editions: musical and canine shows, gymkhana, small farm, inflatable playground, rides, agricultural machinery exhibitions, educational activities, artisans and tractor shoots (3rd edition in 2006). The 2023 edition was 40th. In 2025, the Government of Quebec awarded $45,732 in aid (MAPAQ and Ministère du Tourisme).
