The festival

In Libreville, FESIDAL — the Libreville International Dance Festival — transforms the Gabonese capital into an immense open scene. During several days, workshops, battles, performances and shows make urban dances, contemporary dance and traditional Gabonese dances such as the Bolo, between the National Museum, the Bay of Kings and the Cercle Pompidou.

Supported by the French Institute of Gabon and the Ministry of Culture, the festival is directed artistically by dancer and choreographer Kaisha Essiane. It is the body festival in motion: a collective energy, inclusive, that makes Libreville beat at the rhythm of all its dances.
