The festival

Ouagadougou becomes a giant cinema room: a whole city, an entire continent, live at the rate of the projections. Created in 1969, the Pan-African Film and Television Festival in Ouagadougou is the largest African film festival and the biennial reference event for African cinemas and the diaspora.

An anniversary edition — the 30th FESPACO, created in 1969: it is held under the theme "Camema of Africa and endogenous development", with Togo as a guest country of honour.
