FESPAM — Pan-African Music Festival

The festival

Brazzaville, capital of the rumba, hosts FESPAM, the Pan-African Music Festival, a major biennial event of music from the continent and the diaspora. Concerts, international symposium, African music market and exhibition of traditional instruments at the Pan-African Museum of Music make the city vibrate for a week, from the Palais des Congrès to the Mayanga and Kintélé scenes.

The 12th edition, from July 19 to 26, 2025, was placed under the theme "Music and economic issues in Africa in the digital age". Here, African music is celebrated as a living heritage and a language common to an entire continent.
