Fest'Napuan
Musique · Port-Vila, Vanuatu
The festival
Fest'Napuan is the major festival of contemporary music in Vanuatu: created in 1996 by the Vanuatu Cultural Centre for National Culture Day, it vibrates Port-Vila, the capital, every year around October, in Saralana Park, in front of the National Museum. "Napuan", in a Tanna language, means music and dance: string bands, reggae and current Vanuatu and Pacific music are followed by free concerts, led by a committee of young volunteers.
Its mission: to offer musicians from the country a great scene, and to all Port-Vila two nights of celebration.
