The festival
The French-speaking African laughter is taking the road: six cities, a caravan of humorists, and rooms that recognize each other in each anecdote. First festival dedicated exclusively to African humour in Canada (according to its CNW communiqué), organized by the organization Africa Multirielle: since 2015, Afrikiri gives the microphone to international stars as well as to the next generation of here — stand-up, galas, open scene "AFRIKIRI has talent", humorous writing workshops. Slogan 2026: "The humor brings us together.
Artists 2026: Willy Dumbo, Ulrich Takam, Prissy la Dégammeuse, Meriem, Dolino, Bappa Oumar and Farah Paul.
