The festival

"Amani" means "peace" in Swahili — and the whole festival is in this word. Born in Goma, on the banks of Lake Kivu, the Amani Festival is a festival that features music, dance, theatre, slam and fashion for peace and cohesion instruments for the Great Lakes region. Each edition brings together tens of thousands of festivalgoers and a village of entrepreneurs and associations. Discover Goma: the shores of Lake Kivu, the colourful markets, the grilled fish and the sambaza of the lake, at the gates of the Virunga Park.

Your images are worth Festivos

You are at a festival, a concert, a village party, a traditional party, a private party — even two or three, on a boat or on a plane? Send us your images: Festival TV analyses them, and if they are broadcast, they pass on with your name in credit. Program in preparation. All the parties of the world interest us: we want to see how different communities celebrate life and manifest their joy.
