The world's theatre descends into the streets of Quebec · Quebec, Quebec, Canada
The festival
Québec City is becoming a theatre. The Carrefour Festival — the International Theatre Carrefour, a non-profit organization founded in 1991 and became an annual event in 2009 — held its 26th edition from May 26 to June 13, 2026: twelve national and international shows in theatre and outdoors, in theatres in the city as well as in its streets.
His signature show, the free walkway Where you go when you sleep walking...?, transformed the Saint-Sauveur district into an open-air theatre, over a kilometre and with more than 50 performers.
