Festival d'Arts Afro-Québécois
Young Afro-Quebec artists take the stage at the Musée de la civilisation · Quebec, Quebec, Canada
The festival
In Quebec City, Black History Month has its festival of arts. Organized by the Afro-Québécois Youth Forum (FJAQ), the Afro-Québécois Arts Festival is the moment when Afrodescending youth express their art, creativity and identity — a space for meeting and exchanging people from different backgrounds, around the cultural and artistic richness of black communities.
Its 9th edition will take place on February 4, 2027, at the Museum of Civilization, where the 2026 edition was held on February 5, before extending through a creative workshop for children and exhibitions of the festival's artists at Café Mosaice in Lévis, throughout March.
