The festival
In Quebec City, improvisation has its festival. The Festival d'impro de Québec will hold its 5th edition from April 22nd to May 2nd, 2027, in the theatres of the capital: spontaneous theatre, star games, street impro and musical impro, nothing is written in advance and everything is created in front of the audience. The edition 2026 — the 4th — had presented 15 shows in 10 places in the city, from Diamond to Imperial Bell, from Méduse to L'Improdôme.

Organizer: The Punch Club (organizer named by the official ticket office of the festival; contact published: [email protected]). In 2026, the grand opening party brought Cinplasm together at the Diamant, and the closing of the Punch Club QC at the Imperial Bell; the Quebec leagues — LUI, LIMUL, Pamplemousses — and the collectives La VIE, La Chaumière and Entr'actes were partying. The complete programming of the 5th edition 2027 will soon be unveiled on the official website. Between the editions, the festival presents appointments at L'Improdôme ("Waiting for the festival").
