The festival
In Sainte-Marie, New Beauce, June begins with music: the Festival d'orgue de Sainte-Marie presents organ concerts on the first three Sundays of June, at 3 p.m., in the church of Sainte-Marie, a historic monument. It is heard there the Casavant organ of 1916, transformed in 1990 — 34 games distributed on three keyboards and a pedal boat. The 23rd edition was held on June 1, 8 and 15, 2025.
Good to know
All concerts are presented simultaneously on a giant screen, to visually appreciate the game of the organists, and admission is free. The festival is carried by the organization Festival d'orgue de Sainte-Marie, a citizen initiative recognized by the City of Sainte-Marie, which publishes the event on its official calendar. No edition after the one of 2025 was announced at the official source on October 21, 2026.
