Festival of Snow Goose of Saint-Joachim
Thanksgiving Day at the pace of the great snow geese migration · Saint-Joachim, Quebec, Canada (Côte-de-Beaupré, near Cap-Tourmente)
The festival
Every fall, at the long weekend of Thanksgiving, Saint-Joachim celebrates the return of the Big Snow Geese, which stop by thousands at the National Wildlife Reserve of Cap Tourmente, next to the village. For more than 30 years, the Snow Goose Festival has brought together the population and visitors around a big popular festival that highlights the Côte-de-Beaupré.
The 32nd edition will be held from Friday 8 to Monday 11 October 2027, led by a fully volunteer organization — more than 80 volunteers and more than 80 partners, without permanent employees.
