The festival
In Joliette, the summer is a music festival, under the stars. Founded in 1978, the Festival de Lanaudière makes classical music resonate with the Fernand-Lindsay Amphitheatre, in the heart of nature, and in the churches and places of the whole region. Great orchestras, international soloists and artists from here follow it for a month. Its 49th edition was held from July 3 to August 2, 2026; the next will be the 50th anniversary.
