Teatro Festival of Curitiba

The festival

For two weeks, Curitiba became the capital of Latin American theatre: the Teatro Festival of Curitiba, the 34th edition of which was held from 30 March to 12 April 2026, presents itself as the largest festival of performing arts on the continent. Its official selection, the Mostra Lúcia Camargo, is next to a free-inscription Fringe that invades theatres, streets and unlikely places of the capital of Paraná.

Around them are the components that have become appointments in themselves: Risorama for humor, Mish Mash for circus and hybrid forms, Gastronomix for table, Programa Guritiba for young audiences and a Mostra Surda (deaf theatre). A city festival, showcase of contemporary Brazilian creation.
