The festival

The Mask Festival was created in 2024 in Porto-Novo. It succeeded the former "Festivals of Porto-Novo" after 1 January.

Its 3rd edition is held in July 2026, with Côte d'Ivoire and China in invited countries. On the program: parades of masks Egungun, Zangbeto, Gèledè and Gunuko, free entry.
