The festival

The streets of Guanajuato become scenes: the theatre was born in its alleys, it still lives there. Born in 1972 of the Entremeses de Cervantes played in the streets since 1953, the largest cultural festival in Latin America: more than 2,700 artists from 29 countries and 212 functions in 2026, in the theatres and alleys of a city classified at UNESCO.
