In Donacona, Portneuf, blues has its great summer event: the Donacona International Blues Festival. Under the immense capital of Donacona Park, the main stage of the festival, artists from here, Canada, the United States and Europe follow each other — for its reference edition, that of August 5-9, 2026, on Saturday included Eric Frèrejacques, the harmonicarama trio (Steve Marriner, Guy Bélanger and Larry Kurtz) and Tommy Castro & The Painkillers.
Tourism Portneuf presents it as the most important festival in eastern Quebec that presents only blues.
