The festival
The Quartier des spectacles becomes an immense open-air jazz club: Montreal summer can begin. Created in 1980 by Alain Simard and André Ménard, the Montreal International Jazz Festival is one of the world's largest jazz festivals — and the summer emblem in Montreal, produced by the Spectra Team.
Its 46th edition, from June 25 to July 4, 2026, has aligned more than 350 concerts and some 3,000 artists, in front of more than 2 million visitors: from the rooms of the Place des Arts to the large free outdoor scenes of the Place des Festivals, the city centre vibrates for ten days, from jazz to cousin music — soul, blues, hip-hop and world music. The 47th edition will be held from June 25 to July 4, 2027.
