Just for Laughs Festival – Quebec
Laughter changes its name, no address: Capital celebrates humour · Quebec, Quebec, Canada
The festival
The capital's humor festival changed its name, no soul. In October 2024, the ComediHa! Fest-Québec — whose band had acquired the Just for Laughs brand in June 2024 — became the Just for Laughs Festival – Quebec, with an English-language component Just for Laughs.
Its 2026 edition was held from July 22 to August 9, in collaboration with Loto-Québec: Les Galas and the new Roast series at the Salle Raoul-Jobin at Palais Montcalm, Les Nouveaux faces de l'humour à l'Imperial Bell, the proximity evenings of the St-Jean Comedie Club and a large free outdoor component at Place George-V, in the heart of the capital.
