Kreol Festival of Seychelles

The festival

In Victoria, the capital of Seychelles, the Kreol Festival is a place where the language, music, dance, cuisine and Creole traditions of the archipelago are alive throughout October. Moutya is under the stars, Creole bazaars, children's carnival, exhibitions and cooking competitions, and Mahé and the other islands, to the Tonbola fair and the final Bobes Ball. It is the celebration of Seychelles' identity, carried by schools, artists and communities in all districts.

The 41st edition was held in October 2026, in the year of the 50th anniversary of Seychelles' independence; no 2027 edition is yet announced.
