The festival

On Prince Edward Island, music is played in the village halls: churches, community halls and small rural scenes host the Festival of Small Halls, its traditional music, dances and tales. Founded in 2008, the festival presented its edition 2026 from June 12 to 21, in more than 40 halls across the island.
