The festival
Created in 1992, the Panorama Festival occupies Rio de Janeiro with dance and performance, exploring the relationships between body, space and time. The 2026 edition, integrated into the first Rio Art Week, has gathered shows, residences and training activities in several scenes in the city centre, including the Teatro Carlos Gomes, the Teatro Nelson Rodrigues and the Palácio Capanema. The festival is intended as a space for training the public and building knowledge around the body arts.
