The festival

Tokna Massana is the biennial Massa people festival, whose communities live on both sides of the Chadian and Cameroonian border. The major Massa cultural gathering showcases their traditions, music and heritage. Its 10th edition was held from 7 to 11 April 2026 in Bongor, in southern Chad.
