The festival

The Festival international du cinéma francophone en Acadie (FICFA) is the showcase of francophone cinema in Acadia and the Atlantic provinces, organised by Film Zone Inc. Created in 1987, it presents its 40th edition from Tuesday, November 17 to Sunday, November 22, 2026, in Moncton and Dieppe. Its official website cites more than 500 films presented and more than 10,000 spectators over its history.

Good to know

The FICFA also lives beyond the festival: a media arts strand, a short-film support programme for emerging New Brunswick filmmakers and the 'Mon film, ma voix!' contest for 16- to 30-year-olds in the Atlantic provinces, according to its official website. The visual used is the festival's official poster.

My Festivaler's Path

Your images are worth Festivos

You are at a festival, a concert, a village party, a traditional party, a private party — even two or three, on a boat or on a plane? Send us your images: Festival TV analyses them, and if they are broadcast, they pass on with your name in credit. Program in preparation. All the parties of the world interest us: we want to see how different communities celebrate life and manifest their joy.
