The festival
In Bamako, slam and humour meet to bring the voice of African youth. Two days of scenes, verbal games and committed laughter, where the slammers and humorists of Mali and elsewhere turn the word into a show. Discover Bamako: the banks of the Niger River, the National Museum, the craft markets, and generous gastronomy — mafé, yassa and brochettes on the riverside. The festival was created by slameur Aziz Siten'K; its 12th edition was held in March 2025.
