The festival

In Winnipeg, the world is a city. Folklorama, the largest and oldest multicultural festival of its kind in the world, held its 55th edition from August 2 to 15, 2026 with 45 pavilions of world cultures — authentic performances, cuisines, exhibitions and traditions of Manitoba's ethnocultural communities — and 362,397 visitors. The 56th edition was announced from August 1 to 14, 2027, still in Winnipeg, with the programming Folklorama 365 that brings the spirit of the festival to life all year long.

Good to know

Founded in 1970 as the unique celebration of Manitoba's Centennial, Folklorama is carried by a non-profit organization based on its members. Each pavilion presents the show, cuisine and traditions of its community, in two waves of one week. Your images are worth Festivos

You are at a festival, a concert, a village party, a traditional party, a private party — even two or three, on a boat or on a plane? Send us your images: Festival TV analyses them, and if they are broadcast, they pass on with your name in credit. Program in preparation. All the parties of the world interest us: we want to see how different communities celebrate life and manifest their joy.
