The festival
Created in 1985 by Jean-Louis Foulquier facing La Rochelle’s Old Port, the Francofolies are the great gathering of French-language song and music: five days of concerts, from the Jean-Louis Foulquier main stage to the halls of La Coursive and La Sirène, between established stars and discoveries from the Chantier des Francofolies. More than 150,000 festival-goers flock there every July.

You are at a festival, a concert, a village party, a traditional party, a private party — even two or three, on a boat or on a plane? Send us your images: Festival TV analyses them, and if they are broadcast, they pass on with your name in credit. Program in preparation. All the parties of the world interest us: we want to see how different communities celebrate life and manifest their joy.
