The festival
The Franschhoek Literary Festival (FLF) was founded in 2007 by a group of literary and volunteer enthusiasts, according to its official website. It gathers annually writers, debates and workshops in the Franschhoek Valley, in the heart of the vineyards of Western Cape. The festival also offers a school reading component and an accession system giving priority access to the ticket office.
