The festival
FRINGE WORLD transforms Perth, each Southern summer, into the capital of the independent show: cabaret, circus, comedy, theatre and music invest dozens of downtown locations, open access for artists (the "open access" model). The 2027 edition is held from January 20 to February 14, presented by ARTRAGE Inc., which launched it in 2011.
Today, it is the third largest fringe festival in the world, in a network of more than 400 fringes: the 2026 edition brought together more than 3,000 artists, some 500,000 spectators and 599 events. A month of hot nights and discoveries, just before the Perth Festival nearby.
