The festival
The Hay Festival Cartagena de Indias is the Carthagen section of the Hay Festival, a festival of literature and ideas born in Wales. It brings together writers, journalists, scientists and thinkers for conversations, readings and concerts in places in the city, including the Centro de Convenciones, Teatro Adolfo Mejía and university cloisters.
The programme also includes the Hay Festival Comunitario, free of charge in the districts of Cartagena and the municipalities of Bolívar, and the Hay Festival Joven for the university community. The official page of the tickets announces the edition 2027 from 28 to 31 January.
