The festival

The sky of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu fills with some 125 balloons, and in the evening, it is a place for great concerts. Created in 1984, the largest hot air balloon gathering in Canada: some 125 balloons and 450,000 visitors — the sky of Haut-Richelieu becomes a giant canvas, between flights, special forms and night glows, before the big evening concerts.
