At Providence Farm, Duncan's heritage farm on Vancouver Island, the Islands Folk Festival has been cultivating a family-friendly folk for over forty years: five scenes, workshops, a tree-based camping and a reputation for the country's most friendly festival. It was held by the Cowichan Folk Guild and held its 42nd edition from July 24 to 26, 2026 — Susan Aglukark, Yukon Blonde, Shred Kelly and Black Umfolosi on the program — and is already scheduled for its 43rd edition, July 23 to 25, 2027.

You are at a festival, a concert, a village party, a traditional party, a private party — even two or three, on a boat or on a plane? Send us your images: Festival TV analyses them, and if they are broadcast, they pass on with your name in credit. Program in preparation. All the parties of the world interest us: we want to see how different communities celebrate life and manifest their joy.
