The festival
In the Roman theatres of Jerash, the ancient stone becomes a scene again. The Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts is resonating, in the heart of the archaeological city, with concerts by Jordanian and Arab stars, theatre, poetry evenings, world folklore and the craft market, between the South Theatre, the main square and the colonnades street. Its 40th edition, in July 2026, announced 401 activities on 10 scenes, with also appointments for children and families.
This is Jordan's great cultural summer, under the stars of Gerasa.
