The festival
In Saint-Damien-de-Buckland, the farm Cassis et Mélisse, a organic farm cheese factory in Bellechasse, opens its pastures for La Grande Fête des chez de Goats, "La vie est êêê...": a gourmet and family day at the farm, Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 11 a.m., with a discount on Monday, October 12, in case of rain. Six goat cheese shops show their products and know-how, and the entrance is free.

In the programme 2026: the discovery box of goat cheese (bugget and accompaniments, to be reserved), other gourmet producers on site, the competition for the best goat cheese cake — jury chaired by culinary columnist Allison Van Rassel; the winner won two nights in a ready-to-camp L'Éclipse du Parc régional du Massif du Sud — and the jazz manouche d'Uptown Brigade.
