The festival
Baie-Saint-Paul is now a festival: dozens of places, a city centre with a permanent celebration, between river and mountains of Charlevoix. Born in 2009, Le Festif! is founded and worn by Clément Turgeon, its general and artistic director, who imagined it on a human scale: the concerts arise in places sometimes unusual — courses, quays, intimate rooms — a few steps away from each other.
The 17th edition, from July 23 to 26, 2026, brought together more than 120 artists on 38 scenes, in a spirit of discovery welcomed by the Félix de l'Événement de l'ADISQ. The attendance has exceeded 50,000 festivalgoers (about 52,000 in 2024), carried by hundreds of volunteers — more than 450 in 2025. Founding member of REFRAIN, the grouping of independent regional artistic festivals, Le Festif! also makes music live year-round with the Cabaret Festif! and Le Festif! at the School. The 18th edition will be held from July 22 to 25, 2027.
