The festival
Since 1979, the Trans Musicales have made Rennes the capital of musical discovery every beginning of December. The 48th edition aligns 74 artists over five days, divided between the Parc Expo, the Salle de la Cité, the Free Area and the other scenes of the city, in a joyful blend of rock, pop, rap, electro and music coming from elsewhere. Here, we come not only to see the names we already know: we come to fall, almost by chance, on the one or those that everyone will talk about tomorrow.
The creation in residence at L'Aire Libre, played every night of the festival, adds to the whole a part of theatre and unexpected. Faithful to its slogan of always — new since 1979 — the festival keeps the energy of a laboratory and the atmosphere of a party.
