The festival

The Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival is the Irish festival of love, music and encounter, rooted in a tradition of more than 160 years: the register of the city's mariper would be opened since 1860. Throughout September, live music and dance animates the pubs of Lisdoonvarna, in Clare County. The mariper Willie Daly continues the tradition of encounters, open to all.
