London Piano Festival
Piano — Classical and Jazz · Kings Place, London
The festival
London Piano Festival — launched in 2016 by pianists Katya Apekisheva and Charles Owen, her co-artist directors, the London Piano Festival gathers each fall in Kings Place, in halls renowned for their acoustics, a constellation of pianists: solo recitals, jazz performances, family events and her two piano gala. Alfred Brendel, Stephen Hough, Gabriela Montero or Leszek Mosdser are among the artists of past editions.
The 11th edition, from October 29 to November 1, 2026, opens on an evening George Benjamin and Olivier Messiaen — with the Visions of the Amen played by the two artistic directors — and brings together Peter Donohoe, Gülsin Onay, a Mozart Piano Gala, a Halloween Piano Party for families, a masterclass by Kathryn Stott and, in closing, jazz pianist Bill Laurance.
