Loto-Québec makes its Just for Laughing — Charlevoix
Free humour takes its summer quarters at the Casino de Charlevoix · La Malbaie (Pointe-au-Pic), Charlevoix-Est, Quebec, Canada
The festival
Charlevoix has his own humoral appointment, and it is free: Loto-Québec is doing its Just for Laughs every summer at the Hôtel-Casino de Charlevoix complex in La Malbaie. Its third edition was held from August 13 to 30, 2026, for three weekends, from Thursday to Sunday.
At the heart of the festivities, Le Hangar, a cabaret-style showroom, welcomes four evenings of humor a week, while the outdoor site is animated from 4 pm, between giant screen under the stars, street food truck and family activities. The event was born in 2024 under the name Charlevoix made its ComediHa!, before taking its current name in 2025.
Good to know
2026 programming: Comedy Club evenings on Thursdays and Fridays (animated by Pascale Marineau, Magali Saint-Vincent and Josiane Aubuchon), Mystery Shows on Saturdays — the star comedian remains secret until his stage entry — and Coup de coeur evenings on Sundays at 8 pm (Mélanie Couture on August 16, Neev on August 23, Simon Delisle on August 30). Fully free shows and activities; a accommodation package at Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu offered an optional overnight stay, dinner and seats at the Hangar mezzanine. Organized by Loto-Québec with Just for Laughs, at the Hotel-Casino complex in Charlevoix. Not to be confused with the Just for Laughs Festival – Québec City (Quebec City), another catalogue sheet. Next edition to be confirmed on the official website.
