Manif d'art – La biennale de Québec
The only winter biennial in North America breaks the ice in Quebec · Quebec, Quebec, Canada
The festival
Every two years, Quebec becomes the winter capital of contemporary art.
Art Manifesto – The Québec City Biennial, the only winter biennial in North America, held its 12th edition from February 28 to April 19, 2026 on the theme "Bracker the Ice / Splitting Ice", under Didier Morelli's precinct: more than 60 artists from Quebec, Canada and the international, deployed in more than 40 locations — from the central exhibition of the Espace Quatre Cents, in the Old Port, to partner galleries, museums and public art that transforms the city into an open-air museum.
Snow, ice, cast iron and blizzard become the basis for creating, performing and rethinking our relationship to territory and climate.
