The festival
The National Cultural Festival is a national celebration of Liberian cultural heritage organized by ActionAid Liberia and its partners in the Just and Equal Communities project (DOMAFEIGN, NATPAH, LIWEN, WOCDAL, SAIL). Its 3rd edition, the first organized in Monrovia, was held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the Samuel K. Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville, on the theme "Our Culture, Our Pride: Empowering Women and Girls", with traditional dances, tales, crafts and exhibitions from the country's counties.
