Three days of extreme living water on the Neilson River, around a two-team race · Neilson River, ZEC Batiscan-Neilson, Saint-Raymond, MRC de Portneuf, Quebec, Canada
The festival
North of Saint-Raymond, in Portneuf, the Neilson River becomes the theatre of Neilson Fest every spring: three days of extreme living water in the Batiscan-Neilson ZEC, around a two-team kayak race reserved for expert paddlers. Born like the Neilson Race, the event took its festival format in 2024, with camping on site, areas for spectators and the entire Quebec community of living water gathered at the edge of the rapids.

Good to know
The race runs on Sundays, in teams of two, on a stretch of extreme living water of the Neilson River; the time of the two teammates counts. Title champions at the start of the 2026 edition: Yann Gélinas and Raphaël St-Pierre, winners in 2025. Event organized by passionate paddlers of the region; information and registrations only via the official Facebook page. To be distinguished from the Raid Bras du Nord (mountain bike, also in Saint-Raymond, at the end of August).
