The festival
Paraokaville is not a festival like any other: it is a city. Founded in 2015 on Weeze airport, in North Rhine-Westphalia, it makes live the weekend the fictitious city of Bill Parooka, its legendary founder: town hall, post office, supermarket, swimming pool, and even a church where festivalgoers can really get married. The "citizens" of the City of Dreams live there day and night, between the giant camping and the scenes.
The scale of the festival is at the height of the concept: about 225,000 visitors on the weekend and more than 300 artists for the 2026 edition, the tenth of the name, have been complete for months. About ten scenes, including the monumental glass dome-shaped Mainstage, host the greatest names of the EDM, house, techno and hardstyle. By 2025, the festival had celebrated its ten years.
The next edition will be held as every year in mid-July 2027 at Weeze Airport, with the exact dates announced on the official website.
