Pèlerin'Art
Public art on pilgrimage from village to village · Lake Faubourg, Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges, Côte-de-Beaupré, Quebec, Canada (edition 2026; travelling event in the MRC de La Côte-de-Beaupré)
The festival
Born in 2022 around the quay of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Pèlerin'Art is the annual public art competition event of the Côte-de-Beaupré: each year, Développement Côte-de-Beaupré chooses a site and a theme, a jury holds three works — two temporary and one permanent, which joins the regional artistic path — and the public discovers them during a unveiling, before they animate the landscape for the season and beyond.
After the Canyon Sainte-Anne in Saint-Joachim (2024) and Château-Richer (2025), the 2026 edition was installed in Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges, at Faubourg Lake, on the theme "The rhythms of escape", with a unveiling on 27 August 2026.
Good to know
Artists 2026: Jeffrey Poirier (permanent work — sculpture in wood marquetry inspired by crystal and water drop), Marie-Aube Laniel (temporary monumental installation in willow) and Caitlin Ryan (temporary installation, Le bluff de Persephone). Exhibition curator: Julien St-Georges Tremblay. The RCM Cultural Development Agreement of La Côte-de-Beaupré (Côte-de-Beaupré Development, MRC, Ministère de la Culture et des Communications) project. Accuracy of honesty: Despite its name and its birth near the quay of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Pilgrim'Art is not organized by the Shrine or a religious pilgrimage event; the selection committee of the first edition included a representative of the Shrine.
