The festival

Pinkpop is the elder of Europe's great pop-rock festivals: created in 1970, it brings the biggest rock and pop stars to Landgraaf every year. Its name comes from ‘pink' and the Dutch word for doll, ‘pop' — a unique longevity in the festival landscape.
