Wendake International Pow Wow
At the pace of the drums, the Wendat Nation opens its circle · 100 Bastien Blvd., Wendake, Quebec, Canada
The festival
At the heart of Old Wendake, at the gates of Quebec City, the Wendake International Pow Wow brings the experience of First Nations: dancers and drum players from here and elsewhere enter the circle, at the rhythm of drums that represent the beating of the heart of Mother Earth.
Organized by Tourisme Wendake for the Wendat Nation, this great annual gathering — one of the most famous in Quebec — combines traditional dance competitions, artisans, demonstrations, traditional dishes, shows and youth space. Its next edition will be announced from July 2 to 4, 2027; the last was held from June 26 to 28, 2026.
Good to know
